Glentaisie is known as Princess Taisie’s glen. Taisie was the daughter of a Rathlin chieftain, who married Congal, the King of Ulster’s son. It is a beautiful, quiet glen running along the western flank of Knocklayd towards Ballycastle. The piano piece celebrates the wedding of Princess Taisie to Congal. The glen was given to Congal as a wedding gift by Taisie's father.
