This is a graphic description of the ferry crossing between Portaferry and Strangford, beginning with the loading of the ferry, the engine gathering power as it moves out into the Narrows, then drifting with the current, past jellyfish, diving terns and a seal, and finally battling across the current and coasting into harbour, the tail-gate crashing and rebounding onto the quay.
