These are very easy pieces, but with plenty of character.  Some are cosily diatonic, others atonal - all according to the toy they represent.  Armstrong is not afraid to use the capabilities of the piano to the full, from pedal to harmonics and widely placed intervals. Some of the pieces could be taught by rote.
